Scrapbook Embellishments

Today's scrapbookers use all kinds of scrapbook embellishments like metal accents, rubber stamps, ink, paint, stickers, ribbon, buttons and more to embellish their pages.

In the past, scrapbookers embellished their albums with the following items.

In the nineteenth century, scrapbookers decorated their albums by cutting and pasting colorful pieces of scrap into their books.

Woven Labels - Fabric tags, similar to those found in clothing, with colorful themed words and expressions.

Zippers - Self-adhesive metal or plastic closures that can "hold" two sides of an accent together. Often adorned with charms or etched acrylic zipper pulls.
